Having decided that I have more engines than I will ever use, I am
offering for sale the 2 engines mentioned - if I had a digital camera
I would sell on eBay as an identical SS 35 to mine went for US$264
just before Christmas,and only today,some dude paid $67.89 for an
empty SS box with instructions ! Now, my Stunt Supreme WAS purchased
off eBay last year,the picture was rather blurry and the seller was
not a modeller,so I took a risk. When I got the SS,it was stone cold
MINT - not a mark anywhere. No box or instructions though.
The ST 46 is NOT an eBay engine - I got it from a friend here in Australia as part trade on a Philtech 3cc V-twin he wanted from me.
I have compared it to the eBay 46 mentioned in the main Forum above
and these are my findings - the boxes and motors are identical except
mine has a much shorter venturi with a bevelled top. Turned over fast
it has compression,but turned slowly the compression leaks away. The
piston ring is free,as when you rock the shaft back & forth, you can
JUST see a minute up & down movement of the ring in the oil. This ST
IS just as it left the (Italian) factory, complete with ugly standard
muffler and needle in sealed bag. My biggest problem is deciding what
price to ask for these 2 motors,as I would like to sell them together
if possible. If someone was prepared to offer US$400 , I will throw in a MAX 3 35 which is bench run only,in the box with instructions.
