From "Windancer Models" a kit of the classic legal plane the "Ballerina III". This is built with I-Beam construction and the plane resembles a twin tail Navion. Designed by Charles Lickliter and first featured in Flying Models in 1959 the design utilized a Fox 35. Appropriate power for this model would be in the 35 - 40 size. Internal modifications allow use of a 4 inch bellcrank and the tank compartment has been lengthened to accomodate larger tanks. The kit includes contest balsa and parts are LASER, MACHINE, and HAND CUT for accuracy. The plans are copies of the origional with hand lettered construction notes by Charles Lickliter. Features include a molded canopy that conforms to the plans, 92 hand cut ribs and formed main landing gear wire (includes J-Bolts). Included hardware consists of Brodak 3 inch nylon bellcrank and lead out wires. Also fiberglass pushrods and ends by Dave Brown. As an added bonus LEATHER FILLETS are included.
