McCoy 35 RedHead stunt con rod

I want to swap my McCoy 35 RedHead stunt, shiney case, con rod for one for a McCoy 29 RedHead stunt. I want to run the 29, so need one that is in very good or better condition. My 35 con rod looks to be very good+; good for use on a runner.

So is that the entire .35 you want to trade, or just the con rod?

Have you checked to see if the 29 & 35 share the same con rod? My nib 35 Blackhead Series 21 shares a 29 rod. It is clearly embossed on the rod and installed with the "McCoy 29" facing forward. You can't see it without removing the rod. I thought Redheads shared the same rod too.

No, haven't checked that. This one has 35 embossed on it, but nothing on the other side. Will have to see if I can find more info on that. Maybe someone who knows will post an answer.

Have now checked, and The 29 Redhead does use the same rod as the 35. I confirmed this by looking at the rod in another 29, and it was also confirmed by Tgsnj(Tom) after looking at several of his 29s. Problem solved! Many thanx for all the help.

Tried to continue this thread previously, but I think that my post went astray. I was attracted by your post of above and was wondering if you had a cylinder head for a McCoy Redhead 29 also a NVA for this engine. Am willing to reimburse you any costs involved.
