I bought this as an "original" from eBay source. Now that I have unpacked this kit. It looks to be a repo--in part, but I don't know for sure. One LE is broken and the Veco label looks repo, again I'm not sure. I have reduced the price to ($45.00) from the original ($80.00) I was going to ask. I paid ($100.00) at the time two years ago, not really knowing what to look for. A good kit builder could complete it fine. Sold as is.

I'm not as finely tuned as most of the guys on this site due to the "lack" of the years of experience in the kit building. I do want an honest deal for the purchaser though, hence the above reduction in price and explanation. Make offer!

Wille. Which version is it? Does it have the checkerboard label or the small white with red printing label?

Just curious Bill, you stated you thought it was a repro. As I have made this kit for many modelers, I'd like to see what others have to offer. For $45.00 I think it's worth a look. If for some reason it turns out to be one of my kits, I can complete any missing items and go thru it with a fine tooth comb and make it as good as new. Infact, I was thinking of building one of my own Chief's anyway. Please let me know if you think it's a repro of another maker.
