These both have the muffler ears so they are a late vintage fox. They are broken in and have been used pretty regularly up to about three years ago. I have diverted my time from modeling because of family needs so I'm scaling back my stash. They both have good compression and are complete except for the muffler.

I recently bought a Fox35 and muffler from Joe, as well as a muffler for my Fox15. I can vouch for the quality of the engine and for Joe's prompt response - he was a pleasure to deal with and has been fantastic with followup and friendly advice. If Joe says they are decent engines I would trust him.

All this was sight unseen from half way round the world.

PS: Joe, I finally cranked the 35 over last weekend - runs like a treat and does the 4/2/4 break very nicely! Almost had a moment when my father's glo starter went open circuit on him and was pumping 12 volts through the plugs. Thank goodness he blew three of his own plugs just before he was going to start mine! I used my own and had no problems.

I'm glad to here the fox runs for you as It did for me. I was playing with an old fox29 this weekend and having some problems hanging the plane out on the lines in the 4-2-4. Went to an all 2-2-2, mild one though, and did that plane fly - this is one I'll need to bake the piston in the oven for a while.
