K&B 19 R/C Muffler Wanted

I need a muffler for the K&B 19R/C. It came with a cross bar that inserted into the two holes in the side of the exhaust stack. The muffler screwed into the bar. I think the K&B part number was #6507.

These things go for blood, no offense. Just look at eBay - think I saw one go for about $30 recently. How about a tongue muffler from Leonard, our host? I'm going to need one too.

Same problem here. I think I have five of the things and only one muffler. One idea I haven't yet explored is to get HB mufflers from MECOA. Randy's web site seemed to be saying that the muffler was in stock when I looked a while back. The HB 20 muffler should work with a minimum of work. In fact, I'll go look again right now....

Yep. http://www.mecoa.com/hb/parts.htm Stocking is listed as "good", whatever that means. There is a note there about how to get the right one of two different mufflers.

Thanks for the information, guys. I did not realize they were that rare. Although I should have guessed from the difficulty in finding one. I will check the MECOA site and explore other options with our kind host.
