You know, 1" sqaure balas by 36" or 48", machined to a symetrical airfoil shape.
They were used in Voodoos, Stuntmaster, and other kits and original designs.
Are they still amufactured??

Dankar I think Sig makes them. I purchased several at local HS. Thet are 36" long. They have never been a problem finding. Cheers,Dankar

Problem solved --- for now.
Prop Shop had a few. Sig part number B087. Its called a 1x3/4x36 LE. However, did not seem to be on Sig's current menu.

Thanks for the plan. I'm not that well-tooled. I'd be in the kit bidness myself if I had that much equipment. I was able to find some usable wood at a local shop. As pointed out by others, Sig still makes 'em.

I just saw a new HIGH-WATER MARK in pricing,,,
P & D Hobbies in Fraser, MI is offering the Voodoo leading edge for $5.18. Needles to say, it didn't buy it, or anything else, there.
$2.25 at the Prop Shop looks better every day.

That's why a lot of kits with that type of leading edge went by-by
the cost for them is out of site
remember every kit I make with notched leading edges has to have two per kit and some are so badly warped and they dont take them back.
you just can't imagine how many bananas I throw away.....

Walter, I buy from Lone Star and they do replace them, no need to return them either. However they are not real accurate in their sizes of sheets and blocks.
