O.K., guys, I struck out on the Kavan tank extender so how about a prop driver for a Thunder Tiger .42 GP?

Are these the same as a OS 35-40 FP driver?If so I have some !

No, unfortunately, they are not. Although these engines have the same mounting and shaft length as the FP, they are not clones of the FP and nothing will interchange. They are a current engine, however, so parts would be available from a Thunder Tiger dealer. But, who knows, someone may have busted one into concrete and may have a drive washer available.

Thanks, Leonard, That's what my LHS guy said. He was just fresh out. That means maybe this year, or not. Also checked Tower. Same story. Guess I must be looking for a dealer.

Sorry, Dave. I just figured out how to use that part of the forum. Found a message there dating back to May, 2004. Anyhow, I am going to see how the Baby Clowns fly before I invest in an extender.Thanks. I may be back later if you still have it.

Ace Hobby is the American distributor for Thunder Tiger. They should be able to fix you up or send you in the right dirrection.

Thanks, Steve. Reading Model Aviation last nite and lo and behold, a T.T. ad from Ace with an 800 number.They told me of a LHS that I didn't know existed. Came into being about 3 mos. ago. No washer but they will have a couple within a week

I've gotten Thunder Tiger parts from ehobbies.com once and was happy with their service. Give them a look, they do advertise the GP 42 drive washer http://www.ehobbies.com/rc-ttr-aa0577.html

Warning if you do go to the full parts list, it takes a while to download so give it time.

Thank you also, Mark. That address will go into my address book for next time, or in case the new guy is wrong about delivery dates. I sure wanna get turning up a venturi for the engine and try it out in a Cardinalarf. Looks like it might be a good engine.
