Leather Fillets

I would like to let everyone know that I now have available a larger size leather fillet. It is a #6 and when installed the radius is 3/8".
This is a larger size than I have been offering.

My prices include free shipping on all orders.

# 2 installed radius of 1/8" - - $ 0.80 per foot

# 3 installed radius of 3/16" - - $ 0.95 per foot

# 4 installed radius of 1/4" - - $ 1.10 per foot

# 5 installed radius of 5/16" - - $ 1.25 per foot

# 6 installed radius of 3/8" - - $ 1.40 per foot

As a side note:

I plan to have these available for your convenience at Huntersville and will offer installation instructions. I may have some contest special prices on these.

I have an assortmant of my canopies that I plan to have as well as some hard maple motor mounts. These are in 3/8" X 1/2" around 11 - 12 inches long and will sell for $ 0.25 each.

The Argus and Ballerina III kits will be available with special pricing.

In a previous post I said I would update on progress on the Tom Warden Continental kit. The following pictures are the building of the wing up to ready to install belcrank, final sheeting and wing tips

I should remind you that leather pattern-maker's fillets are absolutely authentic for many OTS models. Bob Palmer, J.C. Yates, myself, and others got them from a commercial supplier on 7th Street in Los Angeles. They are easy to install using Ambroid and they take a smooth curve using a marble or ball bearing while installing.

This is to let everyone know that I am completely out of motor mounts. My last two sets of slotted type motor mounts were spoken for today. I hope to get some more made in a couple of weeks.

I announced a while back that I am now paying the shipping charges. There have been some orders that arrived and the buyers have included shipping fees. When this happens, I add additional material to the order.
