OK, I will be dumb and ask, since the sleeve and piston are a matched set, just buying the sleeve to fit your piston probably won't work unless it happens to be smaller or you have the thing chromed and fitted. So, why just the sleeve?

Sorry, Len!
I can use (according to Mr. Wright) the piston from the Series 40 in the RH sleeve. I have a RH 40 case, but the Series 21 40 Cylinder will not fit without some slight modifications to the inside of the case. These "hybrid" McCoys run very well.
I have a LB McCoy RH 29 with a Series 21 Cylinder and piston in it which is a drop in fit. Sadly the 40 doesn't "drop in".
So, if I get a sleeve I can build a 40 to use as a back up to the only 40 RH I have. The Series 21 being just slightly overweight and I do not like to grind away on the case.
