I have a Magnum Pro .25 that is missing the crankshaft spacer, Magnum Part # 300280. Does anyone have an extra spacer? I believe the spacer off a OS .25 F will also fit.

The crankshaft spacer fits on the crank before you insert the crank into the case. The spacer is inside the engine and would would fit up against the back of the front bearing. It is similar to the spacer that fits on the G21-35 crank. The sequence would be the spacer on the inside of the front bearing and the drive cone or thrust washer on the outside of the front bearing. The spacer is a small ring.

Woa, you have me confused now. The front bearing is right behind the prop. The rear bearing is closest to the connecting rod. I have a Thunder Tiger Pro 25 that I just took apart which should be the same engine and there is nothing that fits up against the back of the front bearing. There is a spacer washer that fits in front of the front bearing right behind the prop drive washer. This, I believe, is called a thrust washer and would be the washer in question. Its purpose is to insure that the drive washer (through it) comes in contact with the inner bearing race and nothing comes in contact with the outer race which doesn't turn (or better not).

I also have the TT25 Pro, and the crankshaft from the TT will fit the OS-25F and 25FSR, that said, the OS engines with the spacer installed are the same length as the TT from the front of the counterweight to the back of the front bearing. The OS engines as well as the Magnum Pro 25 have the spacer, the TT didn't. I think the spacer for the OS engines was #22602601. The spacer is similar and performs the same function as the one we used to use on the G21-35's, it allows the front bearing inner race to rest against the spacer so that when the locking cone/thrust washer on the front of the bearing is tightened up when we install a prop,there is no load on the bearing.
