Super Tigre stunt engines 60 an 46

I have about three each of the lite case Super Tigre 60's and G21/46. These are all in excellent condition. Some custom accessories such as backplate mounts and tongue mufflers. These are competition ready engines and you will not be dissappointed. They have all been cleaned, inspected, checked for runout. They are like new. I have been out of .46's but recently obtained two. They will be ready in about a week. I am really held up by the non-availability of ST needle valve assemblys. Great Planes says it will be August at least. I have had them on order since January.

If anyone knows of a source let me know otherwise I am going to make my own but that will raise the cost of the engines cause I can't makem for $6.00.

I have two .46's that will be ready in about a week providing I can make or locate needle valves. I have 3 litecase 60's that are ready. Many have asked about the price and the .46's are $140 and the 60's are $200. I recently sold three 46's and the buyers were extremely pleased. You get and engine that has been completely dissassembled and cleaned, any repairs or replacement parts installed, runout on crank checked with a dial indicator, compression checked and in most cases test ran. These engines will be as good as new if not better. Cosmetically they look new also. Sometimes the metal case has darkened but they are not dinged up or drilled out.

Your classified smells of fish. What do you mean "about three" engines? It is two, three or four, not "about three." Counting the number of engines you have is not hard.

You don't have needle valves? You didn't respond to the price questions in an appropriate manner. Anyone would be a total fool to buy one of your engines. Folks, we have an e-bay guy here!

Well I think we are being a bit trivial here aren't we Larry F? I don't usually respond to this type of post but this one really hit a nerve, obviously you don't know Terry Rollins very well at all. He is one of the most honest and reputable engine person I have ever dealt with. I have bought several engines and planes from him and he gurantees that you will be satisfied with his product. As far as him saying that he has about three engines ready I see nothing fishy with that statement because he probably has around 500 engines and really doesn't know for sure just how many he does have ready to go without counting them. You said he didn't respond to the price questions in an appropriate manner yet he stated exact prices in US currency. So in my opinion I would say that anyone that buys an engine from Terry will be getting a very nice product.

I feel compelled to relate my personal experience in dealing with Terry Rollins. A couple months ago I saw his original post on this forum and ordered two ST .46s. They were shipped to me as soon as he received my check without even waiting for it to clear.

After I got the engines, I asked Tom Lay (Mr. Super Tigre) to take a look at them. He told me that they were in fine shape and didn't need any re-work. "Just run them like they are." He (and others) told me that I got them for a good price.

Bottom line: The engines are exactly as described and the prices are very reasonable. In my case, shipping was included! IMO, he's one of the good guys and I would do business with him again.

Full apologies! And thanks to all the above for straightening me out. I was a little overly sensitive because of the e-bay thread, is my only (not very good) excuse.

Gary, thanks for the vote of confidence. I tried to email you but the link was wrong. I hope Larry gives me a chance. The supply continues to be thin but I still manage to keep a few. I do everything I can to keep the price down and the quality up but I'm having to pay about $85 for a builder and then replace parts, make a venturi and supply a needle valve assembly and build the muffler.
I appreciate your kind words and it's comments like yours that make it all worthwhile.
