So if you sign off with "Thank You and God Bless" then it's OK to ridicule and promote hatred against an identifiable group because of what they wear or their ethnic background?

Not to mention what our host says in the post and the top of this section:

Well I don't think this was funny or "great", but it certainly was offensive. Maybe Leonard could play this from the pulpit on Sunday and then report back on the how "great" the congregation thought it was.

There's something very wrong when people think this is funny and appropriate for what I understood to be "family rated" model airplane forum, but Brett and (especially) Dan get shot down for talking about a certain Japanese small bore engine that they have both proven to work. I guess I must be missing something here regarding the logic of what is OK and what is not OK to post.

Okay kids... Before we go any further, let's clarify a few points.

First point: DO NOT focus your anger on people just because they are Arab and/or Muslim.

This is wrong. Islam has never been about killing innocent people, any more than Christianity has been (the Crusades notwithstanding). This is not the first time evil people have used religion to justify their acts of barbarism (see the aforementioned Crusades if you need more proof of that point).

Many Arabs have immigrated to the US, and just like you, they work for a living, pay their taxes, and complain about the government. In short, they are good Americans. They came to America because it really is the land of opportunity. They know, better than most of us, how truly blessed we are to live in America. And by the way, they are just as shocked, horrified, angered, and saddened by recent events as you are. Do not compound their pain by yelling insults at them, threatening them, or throwing bricks through the windows of their churches. (Yes, I know they call them mosques, that's not the point. The point is, how would you feel if someone threw a brick through the window of your church?)

Second point: Some of you will find this material tasteless and offensive. You know who you are. Save yourself some grief and turn back now. Consider this fair warning.

Just so you know, most of the material is of the "Hey Osama, f_ck you!" variety. Yeah, I know, it's cheap and classless, and we really should rise above it. Yet, at some basic level it makes us feel better. By the way, we are saving the truly tasteless stuff for a later date. Maybe... We don't know if there will ever come a time when we feel comfortable posting the truly tasteless stuff, but we know we sure don't feel comfortable with it today.

when you click on the humor forum , the first listing is "please read before posting" by our host Leonard Neumann" It tells us not to post items such as this. WHat do they call it,profiling ? This is offensive material and is directly against some visible minority. If you are really such an ignorant boob.why not keep it to yourself? Keith Varley
