#0 source One day during the endless electronics tech school at Biloxi, Miss., a Colonel somehow took offense to the person of a rather insignigficant-looking airman. Those were the days when it was not required to have a name tape sewn on all your clothing. He finished remarking on the hapless youngster's parentage, while adding a new bodily orifice or two, and not being quite satisfied, no doubt thinking of the youngster cleaning mess hall grease traps in Alaska for the rest of his enlistment, he roared "WHAT'S YOUR NAME, AIRMAN?" The airman quietly told him,and was dismissed. Those who were watching from safety asked later what he had told the colonel. He said "M-m-my name is M-Maus, Michael E., Sir!"
