Elementary, my dear Watson#0 source
Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson went camping. There they were, staring up at the stars, and Sherlock asked,

"Watson, what does this beautiful sight mean to you? What can we learn from this?"

Well, Watson thought about it as hard as he could and, finally, he said,

"Well, Holmes, it means we are all just insignificant dots in a larger whole, and that even though the universe may be unfathomable, there is a larger plan," and this and that, on and on, until he was so confused he didn't know what to think. Finally, Watson gave up and said,

"What do you think, Holmes?"

And Holmes said, "Elementary, my dear Watson, It means somebody stole our tent."

Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson went for a walk. Suddnely, Holmes grabs Watson's hand and says: "My dear Watson, let's not go around the next corner! You will get a severe beating there". Waston replies: "Holmes, I have fought tigers in India, I think I can take care of myself". Watson proceeds around the corner and gets a severe beating. He crawls back bruised and befuddled: "Holmes, how did you deduct that!?". "Elementary Watson," replies Holems, "Yesterday, I wore the same suit you're wearing today when I was making fun of the ruffians over there".
