So help me out with this one. First off I don’t know the answer –Has me stumped along with a few others.

Supposedly there are three words in the English language that end in “gry” one is hungry and the second is angry. What is the third? Claim is that it is something you see every day.

Now I have tried a number of things including Webster on line with no luck so - are there really three words or are there only two and that is the joke?

The word is "gry". An old term meaning a small unit (I think).

Dictionary.com sez:

gry

\Gry\, n. 1. A measure equal to one tenth of a line. --Locke.

2. Anything very small, or of little value.

Correct spelling is "Buggery", doesn't end in "gry", thus isn't an option. Steve

It's energy that we all use everyday. That is the answer. Of course it doesn't end with "gry" what the riddle doesn't state that it has to be in that particular order. I was stumped too. I will try and get you the website where I found the answer. It was a tricky question.

If I understand you correctly, you intepret the riddle as saying that there are only three words that meet the parameters of ending in "gry" (in no particular order). In addition to hungry, angry and energy, I would suggest that liturgy, metalurgy, clergy and synergy (for starters) are also valid answers.
