It is absolutely amazing to me that there have been so many bids for an item that could have been made by almost any Cub Scout. This is one of the better put ons I've seen, especially at eBay.

I keep trying to post a picture of the french edition of Soldier of Fortune but can't make it work. Anyway, the cover pictures a rugged legionnaire type holding what appears to be maybe a G3 or FN FAL with euro night vision device(Legionnaires BTW are and have been very tough troops but were seldom froggies, most were/are German, South African, Brits and commonwealth, even US).

This item is not available for viewing on eBay, apparently it was nixed as a hoax. The picture of the magazine cover is probably just too large a file to pass the 50kb limit.
