Not really humor, but.........

Do you think this fellow started out painting CL planes, after learning from Windy?

Some folks have way too much money or.........too much time on their hands!

Actually I would like to know how they did it. Some sort of photographic process?

Just got around to scanning thru the humor. As an answer to how this was done - there used to be a guy that flew models in Jackson, Ms. that could have done that with airbrush technique. He was unbelievable. Funny thing about him though - he couldn't draw you with a pencil a straight line or a rendention of something as simple as a bellcrank, but I watched him paint a Futaba transmitter on the front of a wooden tranmitter case and you could not tell the difference between the transmitter and the painting of it.
