OK, but rim shots are drum beats done often on some talk shows and in some comedy clubs after short one liners like these. The previous post was not basketball oriented!

Maybe I should clarify....

A rim shot (down here) is a shot that hits the Rim of the basket....some go in...some dont......just means "pretty average"

The rim shot that often punctuates a comedian's routine usually consists of two hits on the rim of the snare drum followed by a cymbal strike. The rhythm is fairly common, but difficult to describe concisely.

"............how do you spell ALUMINIUM????? LOL"
==================================
I spell ALUMINIUM "a-l-u-m-i-n-i-u-m." However, for the metal or any of its alloys that is often used for the skins on real aircraft, the correct spelling is "a-l-u-m-i-n-u-m."

A Scotsman and an Englishman were having dinner together - when the bill came someone with a strong Scottish accent was heard to say 'It's all right I'll get the bill'.

The next day an English ventriloquist was found floating in the river.

Sorry....
