I"m looking for a funny story about european bathing habits in the middle ages. It starts with the man of the house taking a bath first, followed byn the rest of the family, all with the same water. It ends with the baby being last, but by then the water was so dirty...etc; thus the expression "Don't throw out the baby with the bath water".
