He doesn't understand...

A friend's nephew's wife just left him and he doesn't understand why.

After their last child was born, she told him they had to cut back on expenses and he had to give up drinking beer. He was not a big drinker, maybe a 12-pack on weekends. So he gave it up, but the other day when she came home from shopping he looked at the receipt and saw $45.00 for makeup.

He said, "Wait a minute. I've given up beer and you haven't given up anything!"

She replied, "I buy that makeup so I can look pretty for you."

He then told her, "He##, that's what the beer was for!"

That was the last time he saw her.
