A young doctor was in court being questioned about his decision to declare a motor accident victem dead.
Lawyer, "What made you assume that your patient was dead?"
Doctor, "His brain had stopped functioning."
Lawyer, "But he was still breathing!"
Doctor, "Only because he was attached to a respirator."
Lawyer, " So if a patient's brain stops working you automatically assume that he is dead!!!?"
Doctor, "This patient was an engineer, if he'd been a lawyer I might have assumed differently."
