Engine Storage Boxes

I have been looking for a good way to keep my old engines, for which I didn't have original boxes. What I found were small, heavy gauge, white card board boxes made for coffee cups and mugs. You can get them at paper stores, or craft stores. I got mine at Michaels MJ Design, Anyway, the boxes I got were 4+4+4 inches, and some 3+3+2 inches for small engines. Just fold the boxs into shape, label them with a felt tip pin, put your engine in, and stack them on a shelf.

I do something similar. I put them in a baggie (zip lock) well oiled with air tool oil. Then put the baggied engine in a Rubber Maid box about 4 X 5. It has an air tight lid and they stack. Felt tip markers work on the plastic and you can see the engine as the box is clear. Trouble is I can't take them with me. I wonder what kind of engines they use in stunt heaven or stunt hell for that matter. Actually I'm pretty sure I know which type is used where. In my case it's one that always dies in the overhead, no matter what I do with the engine. All these engiens and I can't seem to build fast enough for each engine to have its own plane.

I also put my oiled engines in baggies before boxing them.
