Areo Products Carbon Fiber Landing Gear

I today recieved my Carbon Fiber Landing Gear from Randy Smith. It is beautiful. I mean perfect in every way. It is a bit larger than the gear I useally buy but it is just the correct size for this big plane & Big Boy Prop. Thanks for another nice addition to the hobby Randy.

Ok fellas..........it is 12.5'' wheel to wwheel, 4'' top to bottom , 2.5'' across the mounting platform (where it mounts to the Fuse.) You get this very rigid landing gear for only $ 39.99 (I believe that is what Randy charged me).

Several of us got sets of these at the NATs. We put it up to a Dan Winship gear and it's indentically shaped. Difference is, these are readily available.

The new wheel pants are also just amazingly good. Darn near weightless, and you might tempted to not paint them ,because the carbon work is so perfect.

You are correct the landing gear is copied from
a Winship gear, it is available in either a three bolt
or a four bolt configuration. We are importing them from a european
manufacturer and selling them as a cottage industry under the name of
M&M Stunt Candy.
