DICK BYRON'S SERVICE

Hey!

As long as I'm handing out Kudos, I may as well mention Dick Byron!

I met Dick at Brodak's meet in 98 and hes a REAL nice guy! I traded a kit of mine for one of his Airplane Holding Stands. When I first looked at it, I thought that it might be another piece of junk but I was sorely mistaken!

His stand is well thought out, will hold almost any sized model securely by the motor mounts and allows you to rotate the plane for secure building or painting.

I traded mine away when I downsized and moved but I was reminded of it this last week when I visited a friend who is using one. Once you try one, you'll wonder how you got along without it, no kidding.

Further, I picked up a 40-VF on eBay ( Only $42.00! )and needed some venturis and so forth. Dick found time in his before-Nats thrash to send me some parts (The right ones the first time!) and threw in a bill.

Good stuff, great service and as much advice as you need!

Dick is one more good-modeling-nice-guy, who deserves our support ( Even if he IS from TEXAS-BY-GOD! )!

I really appreciate the nice words but I am affraid you have me confused with another person. I have never been to Brodaks contest. You could have knocked me over with a feather with your kind words but I can not take credit for the things you mentioned.

However www.dickbyron.com shows most of the items I do make.

I think you've described Byron Barker . He makes the paint stands you described and also modifies engines for stunt . He also is a super guy too . He advertises in Stunt News as C. F. Slattery Co.
