Profile Roadrunner kit

Christmas came early today. I just received my kit of the Roadrunner, profile version. I have the full fuselage version too. Upon opening the kit and removing the parts, I see the fuselage is machine cut with lightening holes in the aft portion. The plans show two versions for the landing gear and wheel pants and the ribs are set up for three different methods of contruction like the full fuselage Roadrunner. You can use the 3/8 rod/arrowshaft method, Lincoln Log/millinium method or the Lost Foam method. The instructions have a brief history of the 1967 profile and full Roadrunners, some modifications are explained with the proviso that you can do it the original way. What is real nice in the instructions are the color photos of certain steps. I belive this may be a first, at least for me. Most of the kit is laser cut and the wood is white, which means 4-6 pound stock, all hand selected, not just grabbed and tossed in the box. A lot of love went into this kit.
It qualifies for Classic, P40/profile, and I'm sure will hold its own in PAMPA Intermediate or Advanced. Depends on the flyer, but it is obviously a light plane and the plans show a very modern RO Jett .40 up front. That should do the job. In a nut shell, it's worth every dime.
