Byron Barker Fuselage Jig

I bought a fuselage jig from Byron at our last contest since I had never had or used one before. And boy, is this an eye opener!

The unit would probably support a 1-1 757 fuselage, and it can NEVER warp.
The frame is rectangular steel tubing, welded flat. The plate is heavy gauge aluminum sheet with a centerline scribed on it. The uprights are very heavy aluminum angle milled flat and perpendicular. The attachment bolts could be used to mount a 426 Hemi in a Funny Car!

Some might think it is "over built", but I think it is perfect. The only way that even "I" could hurt it would be with a cutting torch, 12 lb. sledge, or other similar device.
