Brodak metal tanks

I bought a new Brodak metal uniflow tank for my Profile Bearcat. I usually build my tanks but was interested in the quality of commercially available tanks which would fit this airplane.
I popped the back off with the intention of possibly cleaning the inside and reventing the tank. I found it clean with well installed copper venting, so much so, I simply put the back back on leaving the inside of the tank as I found it.
My opion, this is a good tank, and I recommend it.

I've heard that Brodak tanks are made to order rather than kept in stock. What kind of turnaround time did you get on your order?

Last month I ordered, by phone, six different size and type tanks. I got them in three days at the door via Fedex. These had to be in stock unless Brodak has elves that work all night long.

I use the Brodak # 557 on my kits and they seem to be "in stock".
One guy does all of the tanks and he is quite good at it , so it seams. I f a tank # fits a certain kit that is selling very well, than there may be a slight delay. The Nobler tank(unique) , last year comes to mind. Brodak does it well. IMHO .MM

We offer Brodak tanks here and have found them to be excellent products. We did have some damaged in shipment and they were replaced at once with no trouble.
I also use them on my personal planes.

With all the positive comments on this thread, I ordered 4 tanks from Brodak, 2 of which were for special applications in sizes/styles I would considered unusual for stunt. I received the tanks TWO DAYS LATER. Excellent construction. Amazing service.
