I got this kit mixed up with the Warrior. Built it anyway and no regrets. Because the BRAVE lacks flaps I think it is an over looked model. Excellent kit in every way! Pactically fell together. Framed up in 3 evenings. Covered and ready for paint in 3 evenings. Yellow silk on wing & h/stab. S/span and some fiberglass on fuse with blue dope and small amount of black, red and white trim. Painting took a w/end. 2 week gas off then decals, very little ink and clear. 23 oz ready to fly with NOS VECO .19 series 100 and all VECO hardware. This is a very fast build and light weight for me. Turned out to be a neat and clean model.
No flaps on this model but it turns better than I expected. VECO .19 is about right. The model is as steady as a rock on 52' lines and without adjustments! No tabs added. Very relaxing and predictable flying. If you have an old .19 laying around, consider one of Larry's VECO BRAVE kits you won't regret it. (pictures soon) Andy
