On another thread we disscussed the mechnical aspects of this system and it occurred to me that if it wasn't for John Brodak's manufacturing these components I wouldn't be flying Navy Carrier! So first off- Thankyou Mr. Brodak! The handles perform well, it is suggested to slip heatshrink over the leadouts to preclude possible binding where the crimps enter the body of the handle. The bellcranks come in three mounting congfigurations to fit upright, inverted, or middle installations. Take apart for cleaning is easily done with 4 bolts. A needle file here and there to deburr ares is a good idea. Lube with WD40 or similar keeps'em smooth. The geometry is the same as the original RJB handles/bellcranks but the size is a little larger so they aren't interchangable with the originals. (To fly a '50s built plane with the original bellcrank I required the old handle). I know of one instance of a handle failure and Mr. Brodak replaced it quickly with no problem. The price tag is around 40$ for the handle and I've never wore one out. The 'cranks are about 15$ and I've never wore any of them out, either (although my ClassII with OS65DF is wearing the holes out somewhat- probably better change that one out after 7 yrs.!)highly reccommended,
