Made the first runs on a L&J Series 6 Fox 35 stunt this morning. This is actually an update of an engine I've been running for a year. I had no complaints about the old one, but the change in the new crank is amazing. The engine was mounted in a stock Ringmaster and used an old 10X6 Power Prop. Even mounted in a profile, this engine is glass smooth! Started really rich to seat the new crank, then set a rich 4 cycle which would break into a 2 cycle when the nose was raised. Engine remained smooth at all speeds. The wind came up before I could get a flight in, so I will have to report next week on power.
The older I get, the better I used to fly!
