Are we the only ones?

I have used Ritch’s brew almost exclusively since I got back into this hobby. I find that his fuel is consistent from gallon to gallon and the price is right. I get everything from 5% to 25% nitro for the combat stuff. I really like his stuff – good quality. The hook is in getting him to ship. Each time we put an order together (this latest one is for around 50 gallons) it takes months and months and many calls to get the stuff. Most frustrating. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Dickie Ritch wanted to retire from both his hobby shop and his fuel business a couple of years ago. His son Randy was going to have both businesses. But after a few months, Randy decided that he had other ideas after all. The hobby shop, TTBOMK, is closed now. The fuel business (I think) is up for sale.

Dickie is still shipping fuel and even had someone put together a web site for the fuel fairly recently. I haven't been in personal contact with him for a long time, although we did swap eMails a few months ago. He has an eMail address c/o his web site, and there was some question about fuel deterioration in sunlight that came up here at SSW when I contacted him. He answered the eMail within a couple of days.
