The Ringmaster - Frank Bowman

I recently had an opportunity to do some business with Frank. I needed a new ring for an O.S.Max H .40 engine and you kind folks told me about him.

Well, I was unable to get the wristpin out of the engine to get to the ring and emailed Frank concerning this problem. He said to send the engine along and he would pull it apart and get the ring out for a proper match. Well folks, in about a week my engine was back to me and Frank had installed the ring and honed the cyclinder and assembled the engine. Guess what? He only charged me for the ring and the spare I asked for. You can't ask for better than that.

The quality of the rings is excellent. They are square to the cylinder wall and not slightly twisted like some rings I've seen. Really outstanding stuff.

I have no affiliation with Frank..... I'm just a very satisfied customer. When someone does such a great job they deserve recognition! He's a real gentleman.

Frank did a really nice job on an R/C carb of mine that had a busted idle screw. The screw was busted off flush with the body of the carb and there was no way I could have removed it. I sent him the carb and he removed the screw and rethreaded the hole, and installed a new screw and spring. Perfect work. My carb went from junk to good as new, just like that. Thanks, Frank!
