We don't have ads here, so it would have had to have been someone selling one that he had surplus. There was a thread on some people's stnads that they were using for themselves, however.
Otherwise I would just suggest going to Tower or some such supplier.

I just checked the Tower site and they now have the J'Tech which is very similar.

If you followed Leonard's link to TOWER, of the three stands shown, I'd recommend the LXR588, for a simple reason.
It tightens from underneath; there are no bolt extensions, nuts or washers getting in the way of the muffler... the clamp pads are held with flat-head 1/4-20s, replaceable from your local hardware store, if necessary.
I've been using one of these stands for the past several years, and it holds up better than the previous J'Tec or Tatone cast stands, which had one permanent post and one movable.
(They cost less back then, too. Ouch!)

Last year, I built a new test stand, and the Tatone mounts were very difficult to find.
Finally found and ordered them directly from MECOA. Here's their link. The L'Tec units that Leonard found at Tower look comparable.
