February 1, 2007, my grandson (our first grandchild), Charles Henry Wade McClain, was born to Daniel Wade and Katie Glahn McClain. He is named after his two Great Grandfathers, Charles Monroe Wade and Charles Henry Becker, my father's father. Dad was adopted by the McClain's.
Young Henry, potential fighter pilot material, weighed in at 5lbs 5 oz. He was born 7 weeks premature, but is in great health as are his frazzled father and mother. He is to be called by his great grandfather's name, Henry.
Life is great and Sheryl and I thank God each day for our blessings.

No, Henry is back East with his Mom & Dad. Grandma is going to fly back to see the potential fighter pilot in the next month. He is still in the Neo-Natal ward under observation, but he is breathing on his own and looking great.

So glad to hear the news. I'm sure Grandma and Grandpa are are very proud. Can't wait to see a picture of the Fighter Jock. Remember, if you come back east you have to let us know so we can visit. By the way, I went sking yesterday here are a few pics. The double dimond slopes were the hardest! Next time you can go with me if you are ever here when there is snow on the ground.

Congrats...I have 2 grandsons, Tyler 7 & Cole 4...I built a Goldberg Shoestring for Tyler and a Goldberg Buster for Cole...What are you going to build for your grandson?
