Green Box '57 Nobler plans

I have lost or cannot find the two pages of plans for the Green Box Nobler I built in Germany in 1973. Can I purchase from someone the two pages for reference to another model I am working on?

Tom Dixon has the extended '57 Nobler plans with drawings of all parts including each rib. I think he charges in the $10-15.00 range. I have a set but don't want to part with them. I need them to help redraw my Akromaster plans.

I have the Green Box Nobler plans. Can make you a copy of them. It may take a week. Have a full schedule and must go downtown to an Engineering Firm to make the copies.

While on this topic, can anyone tell me the differences between the different versions of Noblers?

I have the Top Flite Nobler which I am building at the moment and have also ordered a Brodak Original Nobler. I have also heard of the '57 Green Box Nobler (which I believe is the same as the Top Flite??), '52 M.A.N. Nobler, Gieske Nobler and a Grondal Nobler

Looking at pictures of each they all look the same, so I assume the differences must only be very subtle.

In an article I read from "The Control Line Aeromodeller" magazine where GMA was interveiwed he says:

"The Nobler was designed in November of 1950 - at least the initial layout. ... TopFlite first made arrangements to kit the Nobler in 1956, with the first kits being shipped in the spring of 1957. The kit varies somewhat from my original, in that the basic wing was shortened to meet balsa length sizes and the stabilizer and elevators were reduced in span to give a bit more of a scale appearance. Of course the sheet over formers fuselage was substituted for the hollowed balsa blocks to keep the cost down, and it's pretty hard to put 4-5 pound/cu ft balsa blocks in a kit."

However when I measured my Top Flite version, it seems to have the same dimensions as the Original Nobler. ie 50 inch wing span.

Can anyone explain what the differences are?

Ok I did a bit of homework on my own question.

Original Nobler 1950 50" span
M.A.N. Nobler 1952 51" span
Top Flite (Green Box) Nobler 1957 50" span
Bob Gieseke Nobler 1974 52" span (with wheel pants)

Look ok so far?

But.. they do all look the same... very subtle differences in the versions.

There are a number of subtle differences such as landing gear location (a little different on all three).
The biggest and probably most important difference as far as aerodynamics is concerned is in the airfoil thickness.
The '57 or Green box (which is also Topflite kit) is a little thicker and slightly less sharp in the LE than the '52 Nobler.
The Gieseke Nobler is thicker yet. Bob told me on the phone several years back that he drew the rib shape for his nobler around the outside of the Green Box wing including the planking, then added the planking on top of that. That would make the Gieseke about an 1/8 inch thicker. Memory tells me that it also has slightly more flap area and about 1/2 inch more tail moment.
Other differences like the cowl, and rudder, and wingtip shape are obvious.
Wing construction is D-tube on the 52 and 57, and C-tube on the Gieseke.
