A while back I sent additional funds to Dave Gardner, requesting that my Stunt News copies be changed from disk copy back to First Class mail. (Although the color photos on the disk version are very nice, I discovered I prefer the print copy.)

Having sent enough $$$ difference to also get the year's first two issues, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Jan-Feb and Mar-Apr issues in today's mail. This was a result of superb service by SN Editor Tom McClain.

Let there be no doubt: Dave Gardner (soon to be on vacation in Australia) and Tom McClain are "all over it" when it comes to taking care of PAMPA's members!

A "rolling stone gathers no moss!" In the past two weeks, Sheryl and I have sent out over 100 items to PAMPA members. Service is what we believe in.

Mike

You have done well.

And please note that this is not a complaint about Tom or anyone in PAMPA, I still haven't received the March/April issue in Oz.

I hope that PAMPA management will simply note this—and I will advise when I receive the magazine—because I wish I had some way of giving USPS a rocket. I am beginning to think that USPS and Service are mutually exclusive concepts.

I recently paid Tower about $18 for goods that fitted in a padded envelope 13" x 10". It took 16 days to arrive.

Back when Tom Morris was in charge of Stunt News, I often received my copy in Oz before any of you guys started talking about the contets.

Thanks USPS—for nothing

Cheers, Geoff

Just to update—

I received the March-April Stunt News today. It was postmarked International Priority Airmail Rock Island March 14. It was also postmarked by a Sydney bulk mail centre at 17:22 4 April and was delivered today, Monday.

I know I've said it before but I would hate to see what USPS calls non-priority service. How I wish I had a way to complain direct to USPS.

What sort of service are other international members getting?

Cheers, Geoff
