Here is my Sheeks "Sea Vixen" as of today. Medium Silk Span, Carbon on the fuselage. Next is fillets and then primer.

Don't forget that the Sheeks Awards will be given again at VSC XXI. We expect to see many more of Jack's airplanes.

Very nice!

I noticed no leading edge sheeting? How wide are your capstrips? Any experience with this type of wing?

It's an I-beam wing (sliced ribs).

Holy cats! Looks fiendishly complex to build and align everything. Was Jack's original really built without leading edge sheeting? Beautiful and really unique (an overused term but not this time) model that will be a real show-stopper. What trim scheme do you have planned?

Yes Doug and Mike. It is an I-beamer. (No leading edge sheeting and lots of strip ribs) See construction pictures below.

It is the most challenging airplane I have ever built. But, after building three All Americans for people in the past year, this breaks the boredom, and is a very wecome challenge. As with my own designs, I like to break the mold.

Thanks for the dates. I hope that we can do some Irish "celebrating" for St Patricks day!

I just hope that I can do the final finishing and detailing to meet up to expectations and give justice to the project.
