Evolution 3 blade props, 10.5 x 4 and 12 x 4's Any good for Stunt...

I have the smaller one. It doesn't seem to pull very well.

We tried one of the 3 blades on a 4-stroke powered Rayette several years ago and weren't too impressed. I can't remember the size though. I do remember the performance improving substantially when we tried a 3 blade Tornado.

The evolution props seem to be a match for their trainer system. The props aren't really too efficient but perhaps that is an advantage with a beginner, though I can't see how.

I've heard favorable reports. They are VERY stiff. A low pitch (4) is compatible w/ more high RPM modelrn setups in the 10K RPM range.

I tried an 11/6 on my McCoy .40 powered Viking. It didn't pull well and the Gyro effect was terrible.

I had a limitied amount of time with the 11x5 2-blades late last fall. Seemed to pull very hard, more like a 6-pitch. I want to get a few more sizes to try this spring.

Also have some 10.5x4 3 blades to try. I have only seen these on RC models and they seem to do a good job of controlling overspeed dives on the trainer they were designed for.

They seem to be well made and are comparable to other composite props in weight - that means they weigh more than the wood props I am used to!
