Paint color to match Ultracote?

I want to cover a model with the flame red Ultracote, but Hangar 9 seems to have discontinued their line of matching paints.

Anyone got a clue on what will match?

Thats a good thing because their paints were "fuel resistant" not fuel proof. It was written right on the lable. I had a mess after using their paint. Everytime I picked up the plane the paint would come off on my hands. When I called the company they were sorry for the miss understanding and sent me several rolls of covering which was nice but--- I suppose it would be fine on an electric model.

Contact Radio South. They have a line of 2 part Ultracoat matching paint that is fuel proof.

Larry, Most automotive paint supply shops can mix a perfect match using a base coat system. You will need a urethane clear top coat for gloss and fuel proofing. I have had paint mixed for Ultracoat flame red as well as the light blue covering used on the Brodak Super Clown ARF. Both perfect matches. Custom mixes can be as small as 4 ounces.
