Ah, Bubba's just kidding. I actually got the colors off his shelf. He mixed them all together to make bronze.

Hi John,

With the disclaimer that the airplane no longer exists and I'm working from memory and an imperfect picture ...

I went through my PPG Color Chart book and came up with the following. The colors are listed only by number and there were actually three shades of pond sc... er, uh, purple on it. When I had them put together I remember they had names but the only one I recall is the darkest which was called "Eggplant".

The lightest of the three shades was number 51190. The intermediate shade 51122 and the dark eggplant was 51319.

I could find no date on the Index of colors but the instruction sheets were dated 1996. It is unlikely the same colors/numbers are still available today but a good PPG outlet ought to be able to cross reference them.

Good luck.

Ted

p.s. They were all metallic colorss and in the major sub-heading of "magenta metallics".

Thanks Ted,
I'm always trying to find something out of production or otherwise. The metalic Lavender seems just right for my bike we will see & thanks again Ted.

And all this time I thought you were matching Shareen's nail polish.
