Finally had a good day to fly.

After weeks of wind and rain (about 5" fell on Friday) finally got out with the Hallmark. First problem was our circle was half under water so decided to try my sons school up the road. The grass was a little high but thought I could take off from the asphalt and then walk out to where there was plenty of room to fly. Either something on the asphalt or some of the high grass caught the lines and turned the plane in as soon as Beth let it go. Went straight up over me about 20' and head to where I had told my little boy to sit until I got up in the air. I was able to grab the slack lines with my other hand and yank down hard and the plan fell well short of him(scared me big time). The pictures will show the results, worst part is never got a full pattern out of it and had maybe 10 total flights.

That is a crying shame! At least your son was not hurt.
