It's a "P-30"...the plastic prop is required, tho there are several brands to choose from. This event started in California, and is obviously not related to the "P.40" event, as one can plainly see by the different punctuation. Plus, that it's a free flight, of course! Steve

Hi Randy,

Stick and tissue rubber powered models like yours are the real deal...that's how I got started when I was about 7 years old. Building these teaches you a lot about building, covering, and flight trimming a model. I have some rubber-powered kits that I am going to build pretty soon; also some gas powered free-flight kits.

Glad to see Brandon is doing so well with them.

Hey I recognize that model. It's a Campbell kit called a Souper 30. Lists for $28.00 . Builds easy, adjusts easy, flys well I have two of them. Move farther away from those trees when you launch. One of mine spent a few hours up a tree. On a day with some good air , it can go for miles , even though there is a two minute max for P30 class. Keith Varley
