My kids got me second new shop stool ,now they have a place to sit when they work in the shop with me. (well they like rockets and RC buggys)

I got some Doo Wop CD's, cheese, jam and a 1/12 scale '57 Chevy Plastic Model that my grandson built.

After I got it, we did a photo shoot with a couple of my planes, my Big Job and my P-40.

Well, I got phone calls from two of our kids. 2 out of 3 isn't too bad an average, considering the third one lives 2 miles from here and I get to see him a lot.

I got a new chair to take to the field with me. It has a nice canopy on it to keep the sun off. Tried it yesterday. It works great.

I also got two tickets to see the Blue Man Group concert at Universal in Orlando. Should be a blast. They put on a really good show. Can't wait.

Actually, I still have some Father's Day presents to come later this week when the youngest daughter comes to town for a few days.

I got a lot of non-modeling stuff that I wanted. Amazon gift lists really solve a lot of problems for everyone!

Modeling stuff I have in spades after a 60 year infatuation with the hobby, 40 of which were as a "pro". My kids will be cussing me out for years as they try to get rid of the stuff!

Actually, I have this theory that some poor widow of a modeler will be stuck with ALL the model supplies in the universe at some point, and nobody to dump it on.

I had the family wife and two sons (25 and 28)come out and fly with me. The "kids" flew a profile Mustang/OS35S, 48" foam combat wing and I flew a Bi Slob. Hope the picture of the "Wright Brothers" comes through.

Well when I got my Fathers day card, my boys wrote a note in it and said pick out your own drill press.
I got one on sale at Lowes Friday. It is a bench type drill press with laser cross hair sites. Works great!

I'm always at a disadvantage, because my B'day is June 18. Sorta like the kid whose b'day is just before or after Christmas. But I did get a 2gig flash drive from my son, and cards from everybody and some sort of automotive doodad from my brother (which was amazing).

Ah, here it is: "ScanGaugeII"....looks like a digital all-in-one gauge of some sort. What's an OBDll connection? We had talked about putting an old fashioned vacuum gauge on my '06 Toyota Tacoma, so I guess this is the result. The Tacoma will climb the Dreaded Vantage Grade (6% x 15 miles) in 6th gear in "curse control"...and I've often wondered if I should nick down into 5th to improve MPG. Zoom zoom.... Steve
