I just bought one of these on a special deal from Tower.
What modern stunt engine would be good for this airplane?
I used to fly them with Fox .35, but would like a new less shaky engine for the ARF.
Suggestions?
Also any Mods that you would recommend to this ARF to keep it lasting (other than the obvious i.e. not crashing!!).

A 20fp will fly it, but a 15fp might be a better choice. The weakness is the fuselage and the supplied hardware. The nose will come off VERY easily. A new fuselage built in the normal fashion would do a lot for longevity. All the hardware from the hinges, to the bellcrank, pushrods, landing gear, etc should be properly disposed of. With those changes it'd probably hold up pretty well.

The engine Top Flite recommends is the LA25. Good match also the line of FP engines of 20 to 25 displacement. Look at the Brodak 25 and the P.A.W. 19 ball bearing if you know diesels.

Check the leadouts...probably need to be bushed
reinforce the LG hole I ran a piece of brass tubing all the way through the fuselage.
Use motor mount pads on both sides of the fuselage, MM area is very soft
Other changes people have made are new pushrod, aluminum landing gear, thicker stab/elevator, new tank(one with plane is small and develops leaks)
Balance the plane about 1/2 way between leading edge and spar, forward of this also works.
There has been lots of discussion about the plane a search should find you plenty to read.
Yóu're not getting a lot of help but that's mostly due to the fact first pulling a search or two for stuff related to Flite Streaks will net tons of information, then you can come back with specific questions should you have any.
