Just a couple of tips in case you do not already know about them. There is a product in the grocery store called Press N Seal made by GLAD. I have been using it to mask off the wing and fuselages of my planes when painting them. The paper has a sticky side to it and will adhere to the plane and to itself so it makes it really easy to wrap around whatever you want to mask off quickly. Then I just seal the seams with blue painters tape. I also have used tinfoil but I think this product is faster and works better. Also if you dont know about DAWN POWER DISSOLVER, it is great for cleaning engines and mufflers. Just spray this stuff on a engine or muffler that has varnished and gotten nasty, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and wipe it off. It does a remarkable job of cleaning. A friend of mine in Louisiana put me on to this stuff and it works.

Those are excellent tips, Mike....thanks. I had heard of the sticky Syran Wrap, but haven't heard of anyone actually using it yet. Anyone else with some nifty shop tips?
One I have is for motor mount material. I got to looking at my old auto snaow sweeper and reallised that it is made from a very hard wood! They are the real cheap ones you can buy at any gas station, and can generally yield 2 mounts. $1.50 for a set of motor mounts is a good deal in my books, plus you get to use it all winter to sweep the snow off your car.

I used the Glad press and seal when I was painting the tank tips and the rudder tip in my Richards kits sterling F-94C also used a garbage bag to protect the fuse from overspray.

Great video. I never thought of using the Press and Seal to apply monokote. These are great tips guys. I hope more people will share with some of their tips.

Press-N-Seal is what I used on my "Sheeks Spitfire". Saran Wrap is not the same thing.
