Thanks to the many informative replies I received about the OS 32 and Buster, I will rethink my selections. So now--how about an OS LA 25 series CL engine and 60 ft lines on the Buster? Will that provide reasonably slow lap times. All I want to do is wingovers, loops, and horizontal eights.

Hi,Cliff, we're flying a Buster with a Brodak 25, with APC 9/4 prop on 55' lines. Nice power, very comfortable speed. Trying different prop pitches will allow you to control speed to your liking. Sounds like you're on the right track.

An LA 25 would be a good choice for the Buster. I too would start with a 9-4 or 9-5 prop. 10-4 props will also work. Find the prop and speed the engine likes best then trim or lenghten the lines to achieve the speed you like best. 60' eyelet to eyelet is a good starting point.
Others may have more specific advice on running of the LA 25 but above will get you going in the right direction. Three ounces of fuel should be more than enough which is good since there is limited space between the engine and wing leading edge. A uniflow tank is best IMHO, for this engine probably use muffler pressure.
