Wow Phil. I still remember the day I meet you when you were 18. Still one of my favorite pals after all these years.

This past week has been a real eye opener!!! Not sure what I did to get so many friends both modelers and non-modelers. Emails, cards, calls and in person visits just crazy!

Special thanks to everyone. Let's see if we can make these friendships grow, as the years get shorter!

Special thanks to a very wise Dave Shirley Sr. who gave me a big hug on Sunday when I was grumbling about not having enough "Tweak Time" to get ready for the Nats because of all the people who put their lives on hold and traveled great distances just to make me feel special. Dave, you thought I wasn't listening but I heard those words loud and clear!

And thanks Howard for letting me be 59 for an extra day! You made me check my birth certificate. Yep, July 1 is the day.

I hope that you had a great birthday.

Don't worry about Howard, he was senile when I first met him about 35 years ago.. he will always get it wrong.

The great thing about this sport/hobby is that we all have life long friends, that are true friends, even if we don't see each other every day.
