Rockets on your back?

The same guy had a similar video out about 2 years ago (the "plane" was red), and has obviously made significant improvements in power and controllability. Impressive.

I had a similar idea about improving auto safety. You just strap the driver to the left-fron fender, and . . .

Excellent flight, Who has the plans to build one of those wings? Two of the larger turbines should be plenty for the needs of this project.

I'm not sure I would have the cajones to try that my self though.

Incredible, that has to be the closest thing to achieving flight with the least apparatus possible. Yes, I know gliders are much simpler but certainly don't provide the speed and controlability that this displays. If I was 25 again I'd definitely have to try it, no matter what the risk or cost.
Now all I can do is watch and wish...

Keep a handle on em!

I was always fascinated with Commando Cody. I longed for a strap-on leather jacket with a controllable (!) rocket pack on the back...
Not given to 'impossible' nor 'fantasy' Super heroes that could fly, I was bound to wait for a workable rocket pack. I thought we were close with Disney's "Rocketeer", but I was aging fast.
My mind screams: "It's too late! You missed the window!"
Whew! Thank you, Father.

Very impressive and well planed flight. A true Rocket< Jet man> that did his homework. A great feat to say the least. Bravo is thre least i can say.
