Some place & I don't think it's in the letter the AMA sent me tells when the earliest time in the morning is...in other words " no engines to be started before " what time"

The interesting thing about this is we don't make enough noise to bother anyone. I don't think you can even hear the planes outside the site (even from the hobby shop location--and is he going to complain?) It is the RC guys and maybe free flights that can be heard from a distance (and which get closer to the borders) that are the real concern. However, this gives us a chance to eat breakfast before getting out to the field (or eat it on the field).

I have camped at the Nats on the AMA site several times, and can attest that there are several of the more serious types flying at first light...all well muffled or tuna pipes...
I believe that Len's 6:30 is what is posted.....
